 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 2 gentlemen showed up to take a look at our water pressure and well pump. Unfortunately they were not able to preform any tests because the previous plumber had left shoddy work, and they didn’t want to risk it. They suggested a few names for us to call. Their fee ($225, I think) was not cheap to pay, but at least they were honest and didn’t cause us bigger issues.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My existing system had a failure. I called Gatsby, and they sent a technician to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately the parts were unavailable and backordered 3 months. I verified this myself by hunting down the parts and not being able to find them anywhere. After discussions with the service manager Fury, I asked to get a quote on a new system. I received quotes from other companies as well, to ensure I was getting a fair price.

The salesman Steve gave me a quote that was a few thousand less then the competition, and after researching the Amana line of products I decided to go with Gatsby for a new system. Steve then went above and beyond by going back to the main office to get AC units so that my family would be comfortable until the new system could be installed. This was 5:30PM on a Friday - superb customer service.

Kyle and his crew started at 7:30 and finished at 7:30. It was a long day. At the end, Kyle walked me through everything explained everything they did thoroughly. The technicians were clean and treated my home with care, and went above and beyond replacing a valve that supplied my humidifier. It is now day 2 with the new system and it is humming along. It's super quiet. After the install I texted Steve the salesman a few questions and received answers back promptly.

I did a lot of research on the system and the Amana S Series with a heat pump is the real deal. It replaced my carrier infinity system and it is much quieter, performs at least as well, and was several thousand dollars less. Along with top notch customer service, clean install, 10 year parts and labor warranty - I really feel Gatsby went above and beyond in every way possible.

We have been using Gatsby’s for about 10 years. They do excellent quality work. In our most recent job our technician Ryan needed to cut old tile out and create an access panel. He took the time and care to do it right and cleanly cut the minimum tile needed. It looks excellent. I will tell you that Prof. Gatsby’s is not always going to be the cheapest but I had them do plumbing, install a tankless hot water heater and replace our upstairs AC unit. Everytime they do the job excellent with attention to detail. Like when the did the ac work everything was routed neatly, wonderfully cleaned and they even installed a little slot to store all the warranties and manuals on the unit. Same with hot water heater. Just quality work which has saved me money over the years for sure.

I recently had a Generac generator installed by Professor Gatsby’s Heating & Cooling & Plumbing and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish.

From the initial consultation through planning and final installation, everything was clearly explained and thoroughly discussed. Every question I had was answered, and any potential changes—no matter how minor—were run by me before being done. That level of communication and professionalism is rare.

The installation team, Dylan Alexander and Allen, were exceptional. Their attention to detail, workmanship, and overall professionalism were truly top-tier. They treated my home with respect inside and out—using floor protection, drop cloths, and taking care not to disturb or damage anything during the process.

It’s clear these guys take pride in their work. The installation is clean, precise, and exactly what you would expect from a high-level, professional operation.

If you’re considering a generator or any related work, I highly recommend Professor Gatsby’s. And if you have the opportunity, specifically request Dylan Alexander and Allen—you won’t find a better team.

What stood out to me most was their exceptional customer service. I had a scheduling hiccup on my end today, and even though it was completely my mix-up, their office went out of their way to adjust things and accommodate me so I could still keep my appointment. I called 7 plumbers and Professor Gatsby’s were the only one that could come to fix a water line leak within 24 hours. All the others either could not make it at all or 3-4 days before they could fix it. Wayne was very good, on time, professional and cleaned up well

The townhouse that we had purchased two years ago had a seriously aging HVAC system that we knew would have to be replaced at some point. After putting in $900 worth of coolant over the last two summers and our heater malfunctioning several weeks ago, the replacement could not wait. A friend who had herself used Professor Gatsby highly recommended the company to me. They first came out to fix the heater problem (thank you Fiore!) which got us through while we processed getting an entire new system. And the money that we paid towards the repair, including the part was credited to the cost of the new system. Today, February 25 was the install day and honestly we are THRILLED. If I could give 10 stars I would but since 5 is the highest, then so be it. I want to thank the extremely pleasant and helpful customer service team; Charles, the Lead Estimator for guiding our purchase including the rebates we were entitled to; Tom, who did the countless measurements necessary towards the energy star rebates; and the install team-Kyle, Tom, Brian, Kevin and Kevin (hope I remembered everyone!). The job started promptly at 7:30 am and drop clothes were put everywhere, I was kept informed of what to expect throughout the day, the guys worked beautifully together and at the end of the day, we had a beautiful, quiet, highly efficient new HVAC system as well as new hot water heater. We could not be more pleased. Our former heater sounded like a jet engine when it would start up, now the new furance whispers that it is on! Yes, totally delighted!!

I had an emergency after smelling gas. I called around and couldn't get a definite answer for an appointment because it was a Saturday night. I was grateful to have Alisa answer and get me a morning appointment for Sunday. I was even more fortunate to have Chris as my Plumber. He was pleasant and efficient. For what was done, the price was extremely fair and reasonable. He was able to complete the job in a timely manner and I was able to turn the gas on to have heat. I would definitely recommend this company!

2 gentlemen showed up to take a look at our water pressure and well pump. Unfortunately they were not able to preform any tests because the previous plumber had left shoddy work, and they didn’t want to risk it. They suggested a few names for us to call. Their fee ($225, I think) was not cheap to pay, but at least they were honest and didn’t cause us bigger issues.

My existing system had a failure. I called Gatsby, and they sent a technician to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately the parts were unavailable and backordered 3 months. I verified this myself by hunting down the parts and not being able to find them anywhere. After discussions with the service manager Fury, I asked to get a quote on a new system. I received quotes from other companies as well, to ensure I was getting a fair price. The salesman Steve gave me a quote that was a few thousand less then the competition, and after researching the Amana line of products I decided to go with Gatsby for a new system. Steve then went above and beyond by going back to the main office to get AC units so that my family would be comfortable until the new system could be installed. This was 5:30PM on a Friday - superb customer service. Kyle and his crew started at 7:30 and finished at 7:30. It was a long day. At the end, Kyle walked me through everything explained everything they did thoroughly. The technicians were clean and treated my home with care, and went above and beyond replacing a valve that supplied my humidifier. It is now day 2 with the new system and it is humming along. It's super quiet. After the install I texted Steve the salesman a few questions and received answers back promptly. I did a lot of research on the system and the Amana S Series with a heat pump is the real deal. It replaced my carrier infinity system and it is much quieter, performs at least as well, and was several thousand dollars less. Along with top notch customer service, clean install, 10 year parts and labor warranty - I really feel Gatsby went above and beyond in every way possible.
